Chat Threads All Users

Team and club chat, built in to the app.

Chat threads list

The chat threads list shows every thread you have access to, based on the teams you're linked to and any individual access a manager or admin has granted you (see Admin: Creating & editing chat threads). Threads with unread messages also surface as previews on the Home page.

Posting, editing & deleting messages

Open a thread and type in the message box at the bottom to post. You can attach photos from your gallery or camera, and mention other members with @. Long-press your own message to:

Tapping a link inside a message opens it; tapping an image opens the full-screen image viewer. Animated GIFs — including ones exported from the Whiteboard — play automatically in both places, rather than showing just a frozen first frame.

Reacting to messages

Long-press any message (yours or someone else's) to react with 👍 👎 ❤️ 😢 😠 or 😂. Tap a reaction already on a message to see exactly who reacted and with which emoji, with filter chips to narrow the list down to one reaction type; long-press a reaction to remove your own.

Reporting messages

Long-press a message and choose Report to flag it for an admin's attention, with an optional reason. Reported messages go to the Admin message reports queue for review.

Blocking users

From a message's long-press menu (or the sender's profile), you can block a user — once blocked, you'll no longer see their messages. Manage your blocked list from Profile → Blocked Users (see User Profile).

Sharing content from other apps

Swayzes supports iOS's native Share Sheet, so you can send a photo, link, or other content from another app straight into a chat thread: use Share in the source app, pick Swayzes, then choose the destination thread before sending.
